Daily Coding Audit System

Status: Active (paused for review as of April 2026) Project: Operations

What this is

A daily automated audit that runs across the firm's repos, websites, and tool configurations looking for drift, broken state, and things that need attention. It started as a manual practice on March 18, 2026 with a baseline audit, got formalized into a recurring system on the same day, and ran more or less daily through early April.

The baseline (March 18, 2026)

The first audit established a snapshot of what "healthy" looked like: - All skill files present and in sync across Skills_Library/ - No uncommitted changes in key repos - Credentials file untouched - Site deploys matching the expected state - Known warnings triaged

Subsequent audits diff against the baseline + the prior audit.

What the audit catches

  • Uncommitted changes that got stranded
  • Skill files out of sync between Skills_Library/ and _reference/ copies
  • Session end not enforced (sessions that didn't run a proper handoff skill)
  • Deploys that got interrupted and left partial state
  • Credentials file modifications (should be zero, flagged hard)
  • New files in unexpected locations

Timeline of audits

Date Notes
2026-03-18 Baseline
2026-03-20 through 2026-03-29 Daily audits, most caught minor drift
2026-03-30 Session-end enforcement added after repeated "session didn't handoff" findings
2026-04-01 through 2026-04-05 Continued daily audits
Current Scheduled tasks paused for review

"Scheduled Tasks: All Recurring Tasks Paused for Review"

On April 9 all recurring tasks were paused because several were running into the same file-cleanup issues and creating noise. Still paused as of last review.
