Cadence: Weekly, Monday morning Duration: ~30 minutes Trigger: "Run the SEO Pulse" or "Monday SEO check" Deploys changes: No (produces report + action items)

Purpose

A weekly SEO health report that tracks rankings, Google Search Console performance, indexing issues, and follow-through on prior weeks' action items. The pulse is the firm's early-warning system for traffic problems and ranking opportunities.

Report Sections

1. GSC Performance (vs prior week)

3. New Coverage Issues

  • New 404 errors in GSC
  • New "Crawled, not indexed" pages
  • New "Discovered, not indexed" pages
  • Pages dropped from index
  • Redirect issues (chains, loops)

4. Resolved Issues (from prior week's action items)

Check off items from last week's pulse that have been addressed.

5. Top Winners and Losers

Pages with biggest traffic gains and losses week-over-week. Flag any page that lost >20% traffic for investigation.

6. This Week's Action Items

Prioritized list of SEO tasks based on the data: - Fix any new 404s - Submit new pages for indexing - Optimize pages with high impressions but low CTR - Address any coverage issues
